Charlie Engle, the man who ran across the Sahara Desert, will be running across Utah during his quest to set a record running across the United States. He will be joined by adventure stud Marshall Ulrich and quite possible YOU.

The run will be the subject of a new documentary film called Running America and they are looking for runners across America to join them and potentially be in the film.

 ”Anyone and everyone is eligible for submissions, no matter how young, or old, no matter if you are disabled, or if you have never run before.

NEHST is casting 5 people per mile (you can only run one mile with Charlie and Marshall officially, but can drop back and continue to run) to run with these athletes and witness history being made first hand.”

Apparently, celebrity runners will be chosen as well. It will be interesting to see who runs across Utah.

According to the current route posting the crew is expected to enter Utah near Garrison via Highway 6/50 on June 10 (Day 10 overall) and exit on June 15. near Vernal via Highway 40.
