Heber Valley Century Bike Ride Becomes Family Friendly

September 21st, 2007 · No Comments

The Heber Valley Century Bike Ride is on Saturday September 22, 2007.

Besides being a true Century of  100 miles, the event offers a 1/2 Century = 50+ miles, Metric century = 65+ miles, or  new this year, a family and kids ride which is 25 miles.

According to Bill Kinney the entry fee for the family ride is $30 for the entire family.  That includes everything available on the first 25 miles of the 100 mile course. Like the Soldier Hollow Olympic biathlon rifle range.

To make this event truely unique they’ve joined forces with the staff of Olympic venue Soldier Hollow to offer you the rare privilege of using their Olympic biatholon rifle range. You will have the opportunity to stop, approximately ten miles into the ride, and test your marksmanship skills under the guidance and supervision of their professional staff. Your targets will be marked and taken to the finish as a treasured souvenir.
