Driving to the top of Francis Peak and hiking across to Thurston Peak is anything but cheating. 8 miles turned into 10 miles on my trip to the Davis and Morgan county high point. We summited 3 peaks this day. Maggie, Molly and Thurston. Maggie and Mollie are unofficial names coined by a local geocacher of the two peaks between Francis Peak and Thurston Peak. We found 4 caches and I took a few dozen pictures. What a fun hike.
